What Is Gravity ?

The force that attracts a body towards the center of the earth, or towards any other physical body having mass. Gravity has an infinite range, although its effects become increasingly weaker as objects get further away. Newton's discover gravity In 1687.This confirmed that the speed of gravitational waves was the same as the speed of light. Gravity is what holds the planets in orbit around the sun and what keeps the moon in orbit around Earth. The gravitational pull of the moon pulls the seas towards it. Gravity is the force by which a planet or other body draws objects toward its center. The force of gravity keeps all of the planets in orbit around the sun.
